'Freezer' Bags
I have found a way to use those plastic bags from the store. I place foods like hamburger meat, hot dogs, chicken, and fish products in them and store them in the freezer. Now I can find anything in a breeze by pulling out the bags and looking inside. I used to dread cleaning my freezer. Now, it is easy because I can take the bags out and start cleaning in a jiffy and then return the bags before the meats thaw out. It is great to also get to the bottom of the freezer without freezer burned hands.

The Punch Bowl
When making punch, you can use different containers to make the large ice floats. Whipped topping containers, containers from lunchmeat, small reusable containers, etc. work great. Simply fill the container about 75% full and put the lid on it. Put it in the freezer and there you go. Simply wait a minute or two after removing from the freezer and pop the large cube into your punchbowl.

Homemade 'Non-Stick' Spray
I bake a lot. Instead of buying expensive cake release or nonstick spray I make my
own. It's just equal parts of flour and shortening plus a little bit of vegetable oil to make it more spreadable. I usually use one cup of flour, one cup of shortening and two tablespoons of oil. I mix it up and store it in an airtight container. Just brush it into your pans. The results are great.
